Add the three digits of a panna. If the sum has two digits, add those digits again until one digit is left. That digit is the panna count.
Example: 456 gives 4 + 5 + 6 = 15, then 1 + 5 = 6, so 456 is in count 6. The count is not the same as the panel total.
